Muriza by Type Me! fonts.

Styrian rooted and with a name dedicated to a region with soft rocks, forested mountains, narrow valleys and clear air “Muriza” is a modest slab serif with temptious curves: Its clear and economic typography linked to peculiarly shapes—like curved spurs instead of serifs—combines well working normalcy with refreshing uniqueness.

With a range of nine well graduated weights—from delicate Hairline to sturdy Black—and a conventional but distinctive italic “Muriza” can fulfil almost every typographic wish until it is related to a sober design. Furthermore OpenType layout features like oldstyle figures, small caps and stylistic alternates or dingbats and arrows are included as well as an extended language support with most Latin-based scripts supported.

Innevers Gothic by Svetlana Usljebrka.

Innervers Gothic is a modern, geometric sans serif typeface. It is designed with a very low stroke contrast. The initial design inspiration was in the shape of superellipse.

The family consists of six weights ranging from 10 to 60: 10 Ultra Light, 20 Thin, 30 Light, 40 Regular, 50 Medium and 60 Bold. It is a display typeface, well suited for headlines, logo, advertising etc. Thanks to its tall x-height and its wide and geometric forms of letters, it is also very readable in small text sizes.

Opentype features include standard ligatures, fractions, proportional/tabular figures, numerator and denominator numbers, as well as superscript and subscript numbers.

Fonts of the Month: June. Free fonts and many discounts on sans serif.

We are in the half of the year, a huge amount of fabulous fonts has been released this year. This past month of June wasn’t the exception and even go too far in the typography community, as big amount of fonts were released. I think I will make the part 2 of the best fonts of this months because this short list isn’t enough to show you great new typefaces that deserve a mention.

The master Rene Bieder release a new typeface named Choplin, which goes directly to the top of the list of hot new fonts of myfonts. Libertad by Roberto Díaz (designer of Quiroga) is also one of my favourites this month. Good News Sans by Kyle Benson is another remarkable typeface this month. Less words and more letters check the list.

DSari by Latinotype (75% off).

It is inspired by the friendliness and cordiality of neo-humanist typefaces with a mix of rounded shapes, some apexed characters, and a little bit of black. Although it follows the ductus, D Sari is also a daring font with less pointed shapes, as is the case with regular neo-humanist typefaces.
D Sari has 22 variants, which make it a very dynamic typeface. Well-suited for highlighting lettering, magazines, motion graphics, advertising, logotypes, signs, etc.
